Osasuna no puede con el Celta y vuelve a mostrar su mala imagen. El Celta coge aire y se aleja 3 puntos de la zona de peligro

Osasuna y Celta jugaban un partido trepidante en El Sadar, donde los visitantes les harían la vida imposible a los locales. El Osasuna volvió a salir flojo al partido y pagó los errores. El Celta regresa a la senda de la victoria gracias a la efectividad de su ataque en un partido en el que borraron a Budimir.

Osasuna y Celta saltaban al campo con alineaciones muy distintas, acordes a sus situaciones. Rafa Benítez apostaba por una defensa de 5, 2 en la medular, 2 bandas, en una de ellas Mingueza por lo que doblaban el lateral los vigueses, y con Larsen en punta. Osasuna por su parte salía con un equipo muy reconocible, con una formación 5-3-2. El conjunto de Jagoba Arrasate salía apagado como de costumbre, pero pudieron adelantarse aprovechando los errores del conjunto gallego, al que le costó asentarse. Unai Núñez le regalaba la bola a Budimir, que se encontró con la mano de Guaita que evitaba el gol rojillo.

Osasuna manejaba la posesión del partido pero no incomodaba en exceso al Celta de Vigo. Por su parte los vigueses se mantenían cómodos atrás e intentaban salir a la contra.

El Celta empezaba a aprovechar los errores del Osasuna con el balón y salían a la contra. En el minuto 25 Mingueza ponía a correr a Luca de la Torre, que encontraba a Larsen, que recortaba de manera magistral y ponía el balón pegado rozando el palo, adelantando al Celta. Nada más llegar el primer mazazo para El Sadar, llegaba otro. En esta ocasión se iba Larsen y ponía el balón para Luca de la Torre, que se encontraba solo en el área y anotaba el 0-2. 

El Celta se hacía con una renta de 2 goles en apenas dos jugadas, dejando muy tocado al Osasuna.

Tras los goles, el Celta se replegó con el objetivo de mantener la renta que habían conseguido. Osasuna veía como no conseguía hincarle el diente a los de Benítez. La defensa celesta repelía los ataques rojillos una y otra vez, y la más clara llegaba en el descuento con un remate de Catena que se marchaba por encima de la meta de Guaita. En la segunda parte el Celta salía ya muy encerrado atrás, aunque el Osasuna no lograba rematar a puerta. Osasuna lo intentaba una y otra vez, pero los remates rojillos no encontraban puerta, marchándose muchos por encima de portería. 

Tras varias intentonas rojillas, el Celta aprovecharía para matar el partido a la contra con un sensacional gol de Douvikas. 

Con esta victoria el Celta coge aire y se sitúa 3 puntos por encima del descenso, por su parte Osasuna se sitúa en tierra de nadie, a 9 del descenso y a 9 de Europa.
