La corta historia de como los socios dijeron «no» al cambio de logotipo del Barça
El FC Barcelona en 2018 presentó ante sus socios la que sería la nueva imagen del club durante los próximos años. El concepto se basó en la simpleza, eliminando las líneas interiores y las letras «FCB» del mismo. Esto no fue del agrado de muchos socios culés, que decidieron votar en contra del cambio de escudo presentado por, el entonces presidente, Josep María Bartomeu.
A gritos de «queremos votar» los socios denegaron la propuesta que, más tarde, fue retirada por la Junta para evitar lo que hubiera sido una derrota histórica.
Se sometió a voto, cosa que en otros clubes no
Por lo menos, aunque fuera por un rato, el cambio de escudo culé fue sometido a voto. En otros clubes esto no ha sido así, y el cambio fue impuesto muchas veces en contra de la opinión del aficionado.
Casos como el del Atlético de Madrid o la Juventus son ejemplos de como la directiva tomó una decisión unilateral sin preguntar a sus fans.
Cuando hubo votación y el aficionado dio el «sí»
De primeras se podría pensar que este tipo de votaciones no tienen sentido, porque el aficionado siempre se negará al cambio, pero hay precedentes de clubes en los que sus fanáticos dijeron «sí» a un cambio de escudo.
El ejemplo más flagrante es el del Manchester City, que cambió su imagen tras la buena acogida que esta tuvo por parte de sus seguidores.
