Sin duda, el regreso de este jugador es una de las mejores noticias que podía tener el Atlético, recuperar la versión previa a la lesión del 23 rojiblanco podría darle ese extra que quizá pueda necesitar el Atlético para poder luchar LaLiga hasta el final y tratar de hacer buen papel en Champions y en Copa, además un jugador más para la rotación en defensa podría permitir dosificar el tiempo de juego de los centrales del equipo y evitar un mayor riesgo de lesiones.
