Tras ejecutar la compra en julio, los Lobos han anunciado una ampliación de contrato hasta 2030.
Uno de los protagonistas en el mercado de verano ha sido la del noruego Strand Larsen.
Después de una buena actuación en su primera temporada en la Premier, el Newcastle de Eddie Howe mostró serio interés en su fichaje. Varios informes apuntan que la oferta llegó a los 55 millones de euros, rechazada por los Errantes.
Así mismo medios ingleses informaban que el ariete veía con buenos ojos una salida, en especial por jugar la máxima competición europea.
No obstante, hace apenas unas horas, ambas partes anunciaron una extensión del acuerdo: el ‘9’ permanecerá hasta 2030, con opción a uno adicional, asegurando así su continuidad y despejando cualquier rumor sobre una posible marcha.
En julio de 2025, Wolves confirmó la compra definitiva de Larsen procedente del Celta de Vigo, firmando un contrato que lo mantenía en el club hasta 2029.

Esta renovación descarta cualquier posibilidad de ruptura entre el jugador-club y demuestra la excelente relación entre ambos.
Y es que sus 14 goles y 5 asistencias en 38 partidos de la campaña pasada lideraron a un Wolverhampton que luchó por la permanencia.
Tras el anuncio, el jugador manifestó la satisfacción que le produce este acuerdo:
