El Valencia vuelve a sufrir una humillante derrota frente a un Barça arrollador. Corberán sigue sin dar con la tecla correcta y recibe un nuevo correctivo culé. Noche amarga para el valencianismo que vio como su equipo fue pisoteado una vez más.

La noche gris en el Johan Cruyff se hizo realidad, y el Valencia volvió a caer de forma estrepitosa. De poco o nada sirvieron las contundentes goleadas en la temporada pasada, ni las dos semanas que como confirmó el capitán del equipo, Gayá al final del partido, estuvieron preparando el encuentro, porque el equipo se volvió a someter al Barça una vez más de forma muy vergonzosa. El Valencia de Corberán salía con una formación defensiva, cerrando espacios y tratando de generar peligro a base de contraataques, 5-4-1 fue el esquema alineado por el entrenador, donde se hizo notar la ausencia de Rioja en el carril derecho ocupado por Foulquier, quien tuvo que ver cómo se le marchaba una y otra vez Marcus Rashford. Hugo Duro sería la única referencia arriba, el madrileño sigue desentonado y estuvo fuera de combate. El Barça encontraba los huecos por donde quería. El equipo local fue mucho más repetitivo por el costado derecho en los primeros cuarenta y cinco minutos. Los avisos culés no tardaron en llegar. Jules Koundé tuvo la primera ocasión clara del partido, a la salida del córner el internacional francés probó al meta del Valencia que reaccionó correctamente y evitó el tanto. El dominio de los hombres de Flick seguía y Julen tuvo que volver a aparecer en dos ocasiones prácticamente seguidas, a los disparos de Roony y Fermín. Esto solo fue un presagio del vendaval que se avecinaba en Barcelona.

Corberán había planteado un partido difícil, donde el equipo sabía que iba a sufrir y a costar un mundo sacar algo positivo. Con llegadas tras llegadas y el partido aproximándose a la media hora, Cubarsí tumbó de golpe la primera línea defensiva che, pase de muchos metros que buscaba a Ferran Torres, que prácticamente de memoria con un toque superó la última frontera del Valencia para dejar solo a Fermín, el joven que ayer era de la partida desde el inicio fusiló a Aguirrezabala que pudo hacer más en el gol. Minuto 28´ de la primera parte (1-0). El marcador hacía justicia a lo visto hasta el momento en el terreno de juego. El de Cheste mandó a sus hombres que intentasen ser en la medida de lo posible más creativos, el balón les quemaba a los jugadores que vestían de blanco completo y debían focalizar el juego en la manera de sacar el balón. El Valencia llegó a conectar muy pocas veces con la banda izquierda, donde estaba Danjuma, «el 7» tampoco tuvo su mejor partido y apenas participó en el juego che. Con el fin del primer tiempo, lo mejor que se podía llevar a la boca el Valencia era el corto resultado.

Lección no aprendida

La segunda parte arrancaba, el equipo debía como mínimo ser más intenso y tratar de no regalar nada al Barça. Pero el despropósito de segunda parte no fue digno de un club como el Valencia. La situación posterior al paso por vestuarios no mejoró, empeoró, los jugadores salieron dormidos, pasivos y sin tener en la mente la posibilidad real de recibir otra goleada humillante. Con apenas ocho minutos cumplidos de la segunda mitad, la parsimonia y el desentendimiento impropio de un portero y su central se apoderaron de Copete y Aguirrezabala, un centro medido al área pequeña de Rashford, ninguno de los dos fue capaz de sacar la pelota de la zona más peligrosa del campo, Raphinha simplemente estuvo donde debía estar y aprovechó el desentendimiento para colocar el 2-0 en el minuto 53´. Poco, muy poco después llegó el tanto de Fermín López el crack español firmó una noche redonda, los de Corberán tampoco le pusieron muchas piedras en el camino, en un centro del campo nulo, con únicamente dos pivotes, era imposible que cualquier jugada de peligro arrancase desde el centro. El español realizó un zapatazo increíble que apenas pudo rozar el meta vasco del Valencia, era el 3-0 en el minuto 55´.

Con una renta importante de goles en el casillero, Carlos Corberán decidió renovar el equipo introduciendo de una tacada tres futbolistas como son; Ramazani, Ugrinic y Luis Rioja. Con el Barça muy cómodo las llegadas eran reiteradas y constantes. Unos minutos después llegó lo único positivo para los ches fue la vuelta a los terrenos de juego de Correia. El portugués estuvo fuera casi once meses por una lesión de rodilla y pudo volver ayer. Fermín López no tuvo suficiente, aún perfeccionó más su noche con una asistencia al hueco por arriba a Raphinha, que tampoco tuvo que hacer nada, la pésima defensa del Valencia en el encuentro volvió a hacer acto de presencia y Copete una vez más, estorbó a Gayá en su intento de despejar el balón, con los dos defensas en el suelo como si de alevines se tratara, Raphinha remató solo para anotarse su doblete particular y el 4-0 en el marcador en el minuto65´. 

El tiempo pasaba y el Valencia seguía sin mostrar signos de mejora. Durante todo el encuentro siempre estuvo más cerca el Barcelona de aumentar su diferencia, que el Valencia de acortar. Y así fue, «la manita», la tercera consecutiva fue obra del polaco, Robert Lewandowski, quien puso el balón en toda la escuadra imposible para Julen que veía como llegaban los goles uno tras otros ante la mirada de sus defensas que nunca estuvieron a la altura el 5-0 fue real en el minuto75´. A cuatro minutos del final Robert firmo su doblete, una vaselina con mucha clase y de esta manera poner el 6-0 en el luminoso y  tocar (varias veces) y hundir a un Valencia sin rumbo,  pobre y sin capacidad de asumir el desastre ocurrido. Casi 300 valencianistas antepusieron el echo de viajar, recorrer kilómetros de noche, para recibir semejante humillación. El club y el equipo, si fueran una entidad seria, no se dejarían como si nada hubiera pasado la situación. El Valencia realizo en los noventa minutos, dos tiros, uno de ellos entre los tres palos de Joan García.
