El Real Madrid ha sumado una nueva victoria tras vencer 96-89 al Valencia Basket. Andrés Feliz ha liderado a los blancos en un partido marcado por el homenaje al legendario Rafa Rullán, fallecido en el día de hoy tras una larga enfermedad. La victoria de hoy en el Movistar Arena le vale al equipo de Chus Mateo mantener el liderato y prolongar su racha de 18 victorias consecutivas en la Liga Endesa.
Primer cuarto (27-20)
Tras el último adiós al gran Rafa Rullán, el partido comenzó con un alto nivel de intensidad. El Real Madrid comenzó marcando territorio desde el salto inicial. La conexión entre Campazzo y Tavares generó ventajas inmediatas, y aunque Valencia Basket respondió con el descaro de Brancou Badio, el empuje local fue mayor. Andrés Feliz entró en escena con verticalidad, y junto al trabajo físico de Eli Ndiaye, permitió a los blancos cerrar el primer cuarto con una renta de +7: 27-20.
Segundo cuarto (19-24)
Con la rotación en marcha, el conjunto ‘taronja’ encontró oxígeno en la dirección de Montero y los puntos de Pradilla y Reuvers. La defensa del Madrid perdió intensidad y Pedro Martínez supo leer el momento con ajustes efectivos que acercaron a su equipo en el marcador. Y aunque Dzanan Musa sostuvo a los suyos con acciones individuales, el parcial fue favorable a los visitantes (19-24), que lograron llegar al descanso a dos puntos de los blancos: 46-44.
Tercer cuarto (28-19)
Tras el paso por vestuarios, el Madrid elevó su nivel defensivo y encontró mejores tiros en transición. Musa asumió el peso ofensivo de su equipo y Feliz fue el factor desequilibrante que rompía líneas con facilidad. El Valencia, algo más errático, no logró frenar el vendaval blanco y volvió a ceder terreno con un parcial de 28-19 en el tercer cuatro que devolvía el control a los hombres de Chus Mateo. 74-63 antes de llegar al último período.
Cuarto cuarto (22-26)
El Valencia Basket no se rindió y trató de volver a acercarse gracias a la insistencia de Montero. Sin embargo, el equipo de Pedro Martínez no logró reducir la diferencia y el Real Madrid pudo disfrutar de un final de partido plácido. Las canastas de Feliz mantuvieron la ventaja y, a pesar del 22-26 del último cuarto, los blancos se llevaban la victoria tras el 96-89 final.
