Modric y Vinicius dan la victoria a un Real Madrid que necesitaba reencontrarse con la victoria en la liga.

Primera Parte

Inicio frenético de los gironins, Arnau asustó al Bernabéu, pero un gran Courtois intervino para alejar el peligro. En la siguiente jugada, Mbappe rozó el gol con un buen disparo al recibir un taconazo de Vinicius. Vinicius probó suerte en el 10′ pero se topó con un providencial David López que le tapó.

En el 12′ se volvieron a escuchar en las gradas del Bernabéu los gritos en contra de la Federación, en el mismo instante en que el Real Madrid comenzó a encerrar al Girona. Nueva ocasión de Vinicius en el 16′, que tras una gran conexión con Mbappe, probó suerte con un cabezazo, pero se le fue muy alto. Providencial de nuevo David López, balón largo de Modric hacia Rodrygo, pero el central se metió por medio para impedir que el brasileño controlara.

Salvador Gazzaniga en el 27′, el guardameta argentino sacó un balón de Brahim, que dejó a Blind sentado. Modric en la segunda jugada, finalizó con un disparo desde la frontal, pero mandó el esférico fuera. Réplica del Girona que cabalgó al ataque, pero se toparon con la parada milagrosa de Courtois, los merengues salieron a la contra con Vinicius y Mbappe, pero el pase del brasileño lo intercepto Krejci mandado el balón a córner.

Tsygankov volvió a asustar el Bernabéu, segunda ocasión clara de los gironins en tan solo unos minutos, pero el disparo del ucraniano se marchó muy alto. Juego loco en el Bernabéu, esta vez fue Mbappe quien amenazó la porteria del conjunto catalán, pero de nuevo la defensa despejó a córner. Abrió Modric el marcador en el 41′  con un golazo de volea directo a la escuadra, zambombazo del croata desde fuera del área imparable para Gazzaniga. El Bernabéu entero coreó el nombre de Luka Modric.

La primera mitad tiene nombre y apellido: Luka Modric

Modric abrió camino a los de Ancelotti con su magnífico tanto. Más allá del tanto, el croata dirigió a los merengues con una maestría digna de una leyenda. Fue el que más pases dio y el que menos falló, además ha peleado cada duelo como si fueran vitales ganando tres de cuatro duelos y recuperando dos balones. Sin duda, todo un mago del fútbol.

Segunda Parte

Providencial Alaba, el defensor metió la cabeza para despejar el centro y evitar que Van de Beek rematará solo en el área. Poco le faltó a Lucas Vázquez para que anotara el 2-0, gran latigazo del lateral del conjunto blanco, pero se encontró con la derecha de Gazzaniga.

Al larguero el disparo de Vinicius, tras una jugada de fuera hacia dentro el brasileño probó el disparo, pero el poste evitó el 2-0. Providencial Krejci, los blancos salieron a la contra, Rodrygo abrió a Mbappe pero el central checo taponó.

Perdonó Vinicius en el 74′, salió el brasileño en carrera, recortó pero su disparo no encontró puerta. Minutos de juego tranquilo, los blancos no tienen prisa y mueven el balón de lado a lado. Perdonó esta vez Mbappe, control maravilloso del francés, pero disparó al centro de la porteria de Gazzaniga.

Y llegó el 2-0 en manos de Vinicius, se juntaron Mbappe y el brasileño en carrera, gran asistencia del galo para que el brasileño tan solo tuviera que empujarla.

Mbappe buscó su tanto en los últimos minutos pero se topó con un gran Gazzaniga que impidió el 3-0.
