El Real Madrid boicoteará la gala, ya que consideran una falta de respeto a la institución lo que ha sucedido en las últimas horas. El club blanco estima que, a pesar de que Rodri cumpla mejor que Vinícius Júnior los nuevos requisitos impuestos por France Football, no los cumple por encima de Daniel Carvajal.
