El Cholo Simeone ha comparecido en rueda de prensa en la previa del derbi

El Atlético de Madrid jugará mañana el derbi contra el Real Madrid. Hoy, el Cholo Simeone ha comparecido en la rueda de prensa previa al partido contra el conjunto merengue.

Sobre la motivación del partido

 «Está claro que la motivación para todo en la vida es una arma doble para aquel que la pueda utilizar.»

Cansan las polémicas artificiales que se crean

«Yo la verdad, me alejo bastante de todo lo que no me influya dentro de lo que nos importa que es preparar un partido, como hacer llegar a los chicos de la mejor manera, como seguir en la línea en la cual estamos. A partir de ahí, me manejo. No estoy pendiente de lo que se pueda comentar o lo que puedan decir porque entiendo que obviamente hay que vender siempre el producto partido, el producto derbi, el producto de ventas al exterior s0bre todo lo que va a pasar con todos los futbolistas buenos que hay dentro del campo. Pero, bueno eso forma parte de ustedes. Es normal que aparezca y nosotros creo que, tanto los futbolistas como los entrenadores, tenemos que meternos en lo que nos importa, que es lo que tenemos que hacer cada uno desde su lugar el día de mañana.»

¿Está nervioso?

«Siempre estoy nervioso. Yo siempre estoy nervioso, ansioso, con miedo, con alegría, con ilusión, con expectativas. Son todas las emociones que me genera un partido. Desde que llegué al Atlético de Madrid, desde el primer día en Málaga, no me cambió absolutamente nada de lo que me pasa hoy.»

Importancia del derbi

«Haber si está pregunta me la vuelves a hacer el partido contra el Benfica y me la vuelves a hacer en el partido contra la Real Sociedad, respondería a las tres preguntas, no me lo vas a preguntar, pero te lo agrego, que cada partido es un 10. No hay un 7. Cada partido la importancia que tengo es de un 10.»

¿Clave para haberse equilibrado tanto con el Madrid?

«Creo que desde mi llegada hasta este momento, ha cambiado mucho todo. Esta es una parte que también ha mejorado. Por eso, el club crece como ha crecido. Por eso, el equipo está en el lugar donde está. Por eso, el equipo se le exige como se le exige. Y bueno hay que aceptar este crecimiento que hemos tenido todos desde mi llegada al día de hoy.. Obviamente se evidencia en esta situación, que es una más de todas, que son un montón.»

¿Posible cambio de esquema para fomentar el ataque?

«Es difícil cambiar en dos días, del jueves al domingo, lo que venimos haciendo. Está claro que es un trabajo que tenemos de aquí para adelante. Cuando tengamos un poco más tiempo. Conociendo más a los futbolistas para obviamente animarnos a más cosas. Hoy todavía seguimos en el proceso hacia lo que creemos que nos da más equilibrio. Creer en lo que creemos que podemos generar mejores combinaciones. A veces acertamos más y a veces menos. Vamos cambiando en el andar del segundo tiempo para buscar algunas situaciones que se generan como se han generado. Pero, la verdad que tenemos poco tiempo. Así que del jueves al domingo va a cambiar poco. «

¿Mismo plan que el año pasado?

«El rival ha perdido un jugador importantísimo en mitad de campo como Kroos. O mejor dicho, ha dejado de jugar. Un jugador extraordinario. Admirable por todos los entrenadores. Es necesario siempre en un equipo para dar el equilibrio. Creo que están en ese proceso ellos. Buscando ese futbolista que le de esa calma para aprovechar toda la potencia ofensiva que tienen. No creo que vaya a diferir mucho de los últimos partidos que hemos jugado contra ellos. Nosotros sí hemos traído futbolistas nuevos. Ellos también han traído a alguno. Pero, creo que ellos van a mantener, juegue Modric, Endrick, Guler, no va a variar de ahí el plan que tenga el Madrid.2

¿Cómo ha afectado el poco descanso?

«No mido absolutamente el tiempo. Aceptamos lo que hay. Hace un montón, cuando nos mandaron a Bilbao la semifinal, que a nadie le importaba, a nosotros si nos importaba y jugamos con 3 días, mientras ellos con 5. Y no se acuerda nadie. No le importa a nadie lo que pasó en el primer partido. Pero bueno, a partir de ahí, no me preocupa absolutamente si nos mandan a jugar cada 4 días, 2 días, 1 día… Hay gente que trabaja muy bien y hay que respetar su trabajo porque hacen las cosas muy bien.»

Sobre la baja de Mbappé

«Conociendo al míster, buscará o bien jugar como jugó en el inicio con Bellingham hay de enganche o cuarto por izquierda, o bien como vengo comentando, con la aparición de Modric por el medio o bien de enganche detrás de Rodrygo y Vinicius. Me imagino un partido que tendremos que llevar donde creemos que podemos hacerles daño, pero en esa tónica de lo que puedan jugar arriba.»
