La nueva incorporación llegó a Gran Canaria el pasado lunes y este miércoles se ha anunciado su fichaje.
Jasper Cillessen llega a la U.D. Las Palmas procedente del Nijmegen holandés con un contrato para las dos próximas temporadas. El portero de 35 años llega a la isla después de pasar dos años jugando en Holanda. Será su tercera experiencia en LaLiga EA Sports tras pasar por el F.C. Barcelona desde 2016 hasta 2019 y más tarde llegar al Valencia C.F.
El veterano guardameta cumple con una experimentada carrera llena de triunfos tras llegar a ganar dos ligas, dos trofeos de Copa del Rey, una Supercopa de España (todos ellos con los culés) y tres campeonatos de Eredivisie con el Ajax de Ámsterdam. Además, ha jugado las dos máximas competiciones a nivel continental como son la UEFA Champions League y la UEFA Europa League, sin dejar de lado sus más de 65 internacionalidades con Holanda.
Situación del mercado
Esta semana, aparte de la incorporación del guardameta, ya se ha hecho oficial la renovación de José Campaña y el fichaje de Álex Muñoz, ambos exjugadores del Levante U.D. Con esto, ya va tomando forma la plantilla para la próxima temporada, donde todavía quedan por oficializarse varios traspasos y decidir lo más importante: el entrenador.
