Los pilotos del equipo Haas F1, Nico Hulkenberg y Kevin Magnussen, completaron un total de 124 vueltas en el segundo día de pruebas de pretemporada en el Circuito Internacional de Bahrein.

Hulkenberg probó por primera vez las carreras tempranas en Bahréin mientras conducía el VF-24 en la primera sesión del día. El objetivo de la mañana era aprovechar el análisis a largo plazo realizado ayer para aprender más sobre el rendimiento en carrera.

Hulkenberg luego se puso a trabajar probando diferentes configuraciones antes de que problemas en la superficie de la pista provocaran una parada con bandera roja. Las reparaciones posteriores del circuito provocaron un final temprano de la sesión, y el alemán concluyó su mañana con un total de 31 vueltas con el compuesto Pirelli C3.

El programa de la tarde comenzó una hora antes de lo previsto inicialmente, devolviendo a los equipos parte del tiempo perdido anteriormente. Magnussen volvió a ponerse al volante durante la sesión extendida, centrándose una vez más en el rendimiento a largo plazo, esta vez haciendo trabajos de comparación en temperaturas más frías.
